NEMO Immune Deficiency

NEMO is a very rare form of immunodeficiency caused by a mutation of the NEMO (NF-kappa-B essential modulator) gene on chromosome Xq28, which causes pus-forming bacterial infections early in life and, as children get older, they tend to become susceptible to mycobacterial infections.
